Machine Operator

Programmed is currently seeking reliable and experienced Machine Operator for our client based in Preston.

Our client is a well established manufacturing plant producing a wide range of packaging solutions—including rigid paper containers, paperboard cans, tubes, and cores for both industrial and consumer markets.

We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to start ASAP.

Day shift, 7:30am start

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Proven experience operating industrial machinery
• A current LF Forklift licence (essential)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• A positive attitude and solid work ethic
• Reliable and safety-conscious

Duties

• Set up and operate various manufacturing machinery
• Perform quality checks on products to ensure compliance with standards
• Work on the packing line and perform palletising duties
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment (good housekeeping practices)
